Hope Basketball Academy now offers Boys and Girls Travel teams in Anderson, SC. The purpose of the teams is to allow young athletes continue to develop in the sport of basketball while continuing to be apart of a Christian environment. Each athlete will be challenged to improve their skill development during practices and tournament games. We will also help them develop as people, we will use scripture and life experiences to help guide their off the court development. Winning games will be the by product of their commitment to practicing, developing their individual skill outside the practice times, and their willingness to serve and help others in the program. In order to be successful on the court these young athletes will learn the importance of celebrating the success of others. We will emphasize understanding roles and responsibilities and how each athlete must do their part to ensure team success.

Our coaches have experience coaching boys and girls starting as young as 8 years old and as experienced are college athletes. All athletes that are selected to be apart of the Hope Basketball Academy AAU  program will have quality coaching to help continue their development. Our coaches  will treat each athlete with respect but also challenge them to compete and develop on and off the playing court.

We currently offer 3/4th grade boys and Girls, 5th Grade Boys, 6th Grade Boys/ Girls, Middle School Boys, Middle School Girls, Junior Varsity Boys and Girls and JV/ Varsity Girls.  These teams will hold practices in facilities located in Anderson SC. 

​

We will now offer Spring, Summer and Fall travel opportunities for our boys and girls program. The spring season will run from March 1st - June 10th. Summer season runs June 15th - July 31st and our fall season will run from August 1st  until  October 20th.  Winter league will be available for our 6th grade and elementary aged teams.

Hope Basketball Academy strives to set a Christian example on and off the court. Playing for the program is a privilege. There are certain expectations we must all adhere to in order to be apart of the program. Please read the player/ parent expectation contract each member will be expected to sign and adhere to before competing for your assigned team. There is a $15 fee to tryout.
